    We are a bit shaken up by the very lucky escape we just had. A bus lost control on the very slippery ice on the road outside our house, and took out our wooden porch and the trellis that was on the side of the house.

    It’s cold outside …

    … so we visited the local butterfly conservatory, which was wonderful. It was like visiting a tropical paradise. It was so good to see flowers and birds and butterflies. Snow can be very pretty, but after a couple of months of it, I need to see some greenery.

  • Fall Colours in Hespeler

    One of the lovely things about Hespeler is that it has so much green space: Forbes Park, Hespeler Mill Pond, Mill Pond Neighbourhood Park, Woodland Park, Bechtel Park, Victoria Park, and the Chilligo Conservation Area. I enjoy walking around them, especially in the fall, when it’s cool and the foliage is so vibrant with colour.

    Great Customer Service

    I had a great customer service experience today. One of my domain names was deactivated and I didn’t know why. I contacted WebHosting Canada’s support chatline. They fixed the issue, and explained what had gone wrong. And now I am a happy customer.
