Happy International Women’s Day to all women, both cisgender and transgender.
The 2026 theme is “Give to Gain”. As the IWD website says:
We can all give our support to gain advancement for women and girls.
As individuals, giving support means calling out stereotypes, challenging discrimination, questioning bias, celebrating women’s success, and more.
Sharing our knowledge and encouragement with others is also key.
A key way to help support gender equality is through participating in IWD Giving.
Nonprofits worldwide are delivering critical work advancing women and girls.
It is the 115th year of International Women’s Day, which was first celebrated in 1911.
And yes, there is an International Men’s Day (November 19th), and an International Nonbinary Day (July 14th).
